BENGALURU: With sulking Tourism Minister Anand Singh shutting down his MLA office in Hospet in Vijayanagar district allegedly to show his displeasure over the portfolio allocation, Chief Minister Basavaraj S Bommai on Wednesday said he would speak to him. “Me and Anand Singh are friends for three decades. We are continuously in touch. Yesterday I spoke to him. Today also I will speak to him.I am aware of his views and I too have conveyed my views. Everything will be set right after he comes and speaks to me,” Bommai told reporters here.

R. Gaviyappa, Honorable MLA of the Vijayanagara constituency, met with Syed Shah Ali Ul Hussaini, the newly appointed Chairman of the Karnataka State Waqf Board, in Bengaluru. During the meeting, the MLA extended his heartfelt congratulations to Hussaini on assuming office and expressed his best wishes for his tenure. The discussions centered around initiatives for the development and welfare of the community under the Waqf Board’s jurisdiction. MLA Gaviyappa emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to enhance education, healthcare, and infrastructure for the benefit of the people.
